AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University volleyball will host Francis Marion on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. inside Christenberry Fieldhouse for the Here to Win Cancer Awareness Game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink as Augusta Athletics and the Georgia Cancer Center come together to raise awareness and show support for those affected by cancer.
The game is part of the HERE TO WIN campaign, a partnership between Augusta Athletics and the Georgia Cancer Center that brings awareness to cancer prevention and early detection. The campaign began in 2023 with a shared idea: just as teamwork defines success for Jaguar student-athletes, scientists and care teams work together to find new ways to treat cancer, improve screening and help prevent the disease.
That work extends well beyond a single match. Researchers at the Georgia Cancer Center pursue new treatment options and avenues for prevention, while clinical teams care for patients and families facing cancer. Through Here to Win, Augusta Athletics helps bring that work and its message to the fans and community it serves.
On Oct. 20, fans can take part by filling Christenberry Fieldhouse with pink as the Jaguars face Francis Marion. The match also marks Augusta's return home following an extended stretch on the road.
First serve is set for 6 p.m. Tickets are available at tickets.augustajags.com.
