Augusta, Ga. - For the second straight year, the Augusta men's golf finish the fall portion of the season in Hawaii at the Pearl at Kalauoa Invitational. The Jaguars have put together a solid campaign thus far and look to finish things off on a high note.
A year ago, the Jaguars finished third in the event so they are familiar with the course and the tournament.
For coach Steven Paine, they may be headed to Hawaii, but they know, there's work to be done.
"This is a business trip and this team is focused on the tournament. We've had a solid fall and look to continue that in Hawaii. We played well really there a year ago and no reason to think we won't again this time around. I like how we continue to make a lot of birdies in each event and the hard work is paying off," said Paine.
The 54-hole event starts Wednesday and finishes on Thursday.
