Augusta, Ga. - The Augusta men's golf team will find themselves in Wilmington, North Carolina for the annual Williams Cup Oct. 18-20. There are 15 teams in the field, including some of the heavy hitters in collegiate golf.
For the Jaguars, this is the next to last event in the fall and they look to improve upon what they've accomplished already this season.
"The Williams Cup has a tough field so we'll need to bring our best, which I know we are capable of doing," said coach Steven Paine. "This team continues to work hard and improve and they are trusting the process. We're just looking for a little more consistency up and down the lineup and we'll be in good shape."
AU has shown flashes of greatness already this year with a win and a fifth place finish so they'll be looking to add another strong showing in Wilmington.
