Augusta, Ga. - Coming off a third place finish in Arizona, the Augusta University women's golf team will head to Jacksonville, Fl. for the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate Feb. 23-24. The event will feature 36 holes on Monday with the final 18 holes on Tuesday at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Marine Legentil led the Jaguars and finished in a tie for fifth place with Sara Adams in 15th. It was the best Jaguar finish of the year and gives the team momentum going into the bulk of their spring season. It also raises the bar for what this team is capable of over the next two months.

"I think it's a really great benchmark to see where we are straight out of the gate," said interim head coach Alison Crenshaw. "I told the girls, it's a lot of momentum for us when we are fresh, so when we have more time to lock in and get in our groove, it's only up from here." 

The field for the event includes Tulsa, South Alabama, Miami, Old Dominion, Florida Gulf Coast, Daytona State, South Florida, Jacksonville, Eastern Kentucky, Furman, North Florida, Campbell, Sam Houston and Oklahoma St.
