Doha, Qatar - For the second time in three weeks, Augusta product Patrick Reed has won on the DP World Tour, this time taking the Qatar Masters in Doha, Qatar.
Reed picked up a two-stroke victory as he finished 16-under-par for the event. The former Augusta University golfer, who will return to the PGA Tour, has now won five times on the DP World Tour to go along with his Masters title and other PGA Tour wins.
Despite an early bogey, Reed would respond and made the turn at one-over-par for the day. He would then birdie no. 10 and no. 11 and would not be challenged as he shot 70 on the round.
There is no official date for his return to the PGA Tour but is qualified for the Masters as a previous champion. He should be eligible for the fall season and with his two wins on the DP World Tour, should guarantee his PGA Tour card.
