AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Basketball will host its annual Military Appreciation Games on Tuesday, February 11, inside Christenberry Fieldhouse, as the Jaguars welcome Lander for a Peach Belt Conference basketball doubleheader. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men).
Augusta Athletics is proud to honor those who serve and their families during this special night, with free admission for all military members and military family members with a valid military ID. The department is grateful for the continued support and presence of the military community at Christenberry Fieldhouse. Soldiers from Fort Gordon will also be in attendance as part of the night's Military Appreciation festivities.
Fans will be able to purchase food from veteran-owned business JH Moore BBQ and Catering LLC, which will be on-site selling BBQ throughout the games.
In addition to celebrating Military Appreciation Day, the Jaguars will welcome several military and community organizations that will be tabling on the concourse throughout the evening, including:
