Augusta, Ga. - The Augusta women wrapped up play at the Valspar Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. on Sunday with an eighth place finish. Despite struggling in the final round, Missouri grabbed the team title, followed by Furman and Kentucky. No team posted a score under par in the final round with Georgia Southern having the best day at 2-over-par.

Puntita Pawichai was the low Jaguar for the day and for the tournament. Pawichai shot 73 on Sunday and finished 2-over-par for the event, in 14th place. She had three birdies in her final round.
Marine Legentil had the second best score of the day for AU with a 76. Legentil had a birdie and five bogeys on the day.
Sara Adams and
Sofia Valera both turned in rounds of 75 to wrap up the tournament. Adams finished 4-over par for the tournament in 21st place.
The non-counting score on the day was by
Danielle Higbee with an 80.
The Jaguars will next be in action March 30 - April 1 at the Coach Mo Classic in St. Augustine, Fl.
