Augusta Women Gear Up for the Final Regular Season Tournament

Augusta, Ga. - For the final time in the spring before the conference tournament, the Augusta women's golf team will put the peg in the ground at the Coach Mo Classic in St. Augustine, Fl. The annual event is hosted by Furman University and will be contested March 30-31 at St. John's Golf and Country Club.

It's been a solid spring for the Jaguars with four top five finishes and another in the top 10. Now, they try to finish things off on a high note as they prepare for the West Coast Conference tournament in a month's time.

"I really like how the ladies have competed this spring," said interim coach Alison Crenshaw. "All their hard work is paying off with their results and I look forward to the momentum carrying over next week and beyond."

The Coach Mo Classic features Purdue, Illinois, Central Michigan and Florida State among the 16 teams in the field.

The tournament will feature 36 holes on March 30 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The final 18 holes will be played March 31.
