Fairfield, Ca. - After 18 holes of the West Coast Conference women's golf championship, the Augusta women are in fourth place at 11-over-par. No. 10 Pepperdine leads the way at 2-under-par and is followed by Oregon State and Santa Clara.

Leading the way for Augusta was
Sara Adams and
Puntita Pawichai, who both shot 1-over-par 73s. They are both in seventh place. Adams had two birdies and three bogeys during her round while Pawichai posted three birdies and four bogeys.
Sofia Valera shot 76 to open the tournament. Valera did roll home three birdies on the day.
The final team score was turned in by
Marine Legentil, who shot 75 on Saturday.
Danielle Higbee had the noncounting score at 11-over-par.
Round two at Green Valley Country Club will start at 10:30 a.m. EST.
