Kenosia, WI. - It was another standout season for the men's and women's cross country teams. It was highlighted by
Madison Thomas and
Nasrudin Mohamed qualifying for the NCAA National Championships in Wisconsin.
Thomas capped off her career and finished in 169th place overall in the women's 6K event. She was named Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Year and was an All-Conference honoree. She finished second at the Peach Belt Conference Championship and earned her spot in the national meet after finishing among the top two individuals not on a qualifying team at the NCAA Southeast Regional.Â
Mohamed, also a senior, would place 118th overall in the men's 10K race. Mohamed also advanced to nationals as one of the top two individual qualifiers from the NCAA Southeast Regional who were not on an advancing team. His season included All-Region and All-Conference recognition, along with a top-six finish at the Peach Belt Conference Championships.
