TEMPE, Ariz. – Augusta University men's tennis continued its strong tradition of academic success as the Jaguars were named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 academic year, the organization announced Tuesday.
In addition to the team honor, four Augusta student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition for their work in the classroom. Those honored were Redwane Bouhadja, Humberto Pinto, Arthur Valette, and Enzo Sakiyama.
To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the academic year and be listed on the institution's eligibility form.
For programs to receive ITA All-Academic Team distinction, teams must post a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, include all varsity letter winners in the calculation, and have all student-athletes listed on the institutional eligibility form.
The ITA annually recognizes student-athletes and programs that demonstrate excellence both on the court and in the classroom, highlighting the importance of academics within the collegiate tennis experience.
