AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University men's basketball has announced its 2026-27 schedule and promotional calendar.
Fans can also look forward to the return of the Jaguar Club, free
Junior Jaguar Club membership for the 2026-27 season, and the introduction of court side seating options inside Christenberry Fieldhouse. Additional information on each opportunity will be announced soon.
The Jaguars open the season Nov. 9 at Miles College before traveling to Wilson, North Carolina, for games against Mount Olive and Barton. Augusta makes its home debut against Newberry on Saturday, Nov. 21, at noon. The 28-game schedule features 14 home contests. Peach Belt Conference play begins Dec. 2 at Flagler, with the regular season concluding Feb. 24 at North Georgia.
"This is the youngest team in college basketball this year, and our returning nucleus better be ready to lead our team and integrate our eight freshmen," head coach
Dip Metress said. "Adding to the challenge, we have added road games at the best program in the SIAC and, historically, one of the best teams in the Gulf South. We hope to mature and get better as the season progresses."
Augusta's home promotional schedule features 14 special events throughout the season, beginning with the Nov. 21 home opener.
