John Friday

John Friday is entering his third season as an assistant coach at Augusta University. Before his time with AU, he spent four seasons at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH. During his tenure with SNHU the Penmen collected a 126-40 record. Friday also was a three-time Northeast Regional champion and made two appearances at the Division 2 College World Series in Cary, NC. He primarily worked with hitters and outfielders during his career.
 
As a player, Friday attended Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH. He was a part of the 2015 team that was Northeast regional champion and made the trip to the Division 2 College World Series. Friday was a unanimous Northeast all-region player in 2018 while hitting .349 on the season with 16 doubles, and 5 home runs.
 
Friday is originally from Southborough, MA where he attended Algonquin Regional High School and then Worcester Academy. After high school, he went on to get his degree in Sport Management from Franklin Pierce University. While coaching at SNHU he also earned his MBA in Athletic Adminstration. Friday primarily works with the hitters and defense at Augusta.
