AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Started 14 games as ASU's pitching ace...Notched an 8-3 record with a 1.80 ERA and 1.13 WHIP...Tossed 95 innings, including four complete games...Struck out 70 batters, allowing them to hit just .230 against him...Failed to give up a single home run.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Appeared in 13 games, making six starts while working his way into the starting rotation...Compiled a 3-1 record with a 6.82 ERA with 19 strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Marvin Ridge High in Waxhaw, N.C...Graduated in 2009 ...Two-year letterman in baseball... Named All-State his senior season... All-Conference junior and senior year...Named South Piedmont Conference Player of the Year in 2008...Academic Honor Roll all four years.
