Zach Tinkham

Zach Tinkham is entering his fourth season as the assistant basketball coach. Tinkham acted as the volunteer assistant during the 2020-21 season before being promoted to a full time position. Prior to Augusta, he graduated from Marywood University in May 2020 with a Bachelors' degree in Health and Physical Education. He played four years of college basketball and was a team captain. 

Tinkham helped Augusta reach the NCAA National Finals in 2022 and win the PBC Regular Season and Tournament titles in 2022 and in 2023. 

He has worked multiple basketball camps prior to his time at Augusta. He worked basketball camps at University of Dayton, Marquette University, University of Maryland, and the Ed Cooley basketball camp at Providence College. He has also worked a Hoop Group Academic Elite Camp and a Hoop Group Elite camp. Finally, he worked the College Basketball Academy East Region which was held at the University of Connecticut.  

He is originally from Newington, CT and now resides in Augusta, GA.
