AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015: Took a medical redshirt and will compete in 2016.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Jefferson County High School in 2014…Named second team all-region her freshman year and nabbed first team all-region honors and the MVP and Academic All-American awards her sophomore season in 2011-12…Her junior year in 2012-13, Long repeated first team all-region honors and the MVP and Academic All-American award and her senior season she was named first team all-region again…Also a tennis MVP for two years as well and ended her career with a 3.96 GPA.

PERSONAL: Born in Chickamauga, Ga., onJan. 17, 1996 ... Daughter to Alan and Jennifer Long and sister to Joe, Jim, and Austin Long … Plans on majoring in special education.
