AS A JUNIOR IN 2024: AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2024: Played in 13 matches and 30 sets for Augusta ... recorded 20 kills, averaging 0.67 kills per set, with a season-high 7 kills against Alabama Huntsville on 09/21/24 ... tallied 14 digs, with a season-high 4 digs against UNC Pembroke on 09/24/24Â
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2023: played in three matches ... turned in 2 kills versus Emmanuel on Sept 1 ... had four blocks in the same matchÂ
While at Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, Posa helped lead her team to a State Championship her sophomore year, a State Championship runner-up her junior year, and four straight Regional Championship titles. Lauren was also named All-Region and All-State twice and made an appearance on the AVCA Phenom List during her high school career all four years.Â

As a freshman at Louisville, Posa was a member of the rowing team and rowed in the 1v4. She was also named to the Dean of Biology list for Fall '22 and Spring '23.

"We are so very glad that Lauren has found herself off of the water and back on dry land, more specifically in the Augusta University arena. We are looking forward to seeing what Lauren brings to the table for AU volleyball. It is not much of a concern that she took a year to go into the sport Rowing at Louisville since she is a product of A5 club program out of Atlanta. She is going to be a competitor once she walks into the gym."
