AUGUSTA, Ga.
– The No. 21 Augusta State men's tennis team
fell to No. 18 Columbus, while the No. 20 women's team
dropped to No. 5 Columbus State, 6-3 in a Peach Belt Conference
match on Tuesday at Newman Tennis Center.
Augusta State dropped to 10-8 overall and 1-5 in league play, while
Columbus State improved to 13-2-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the Peach
Belt Conference. The Lady Jags dropped to 14-5 on the season and
5-2 in the PBC, while the Lady Cougars improved to 15-1-1 on the
season and 8-1-1 in conference action.
The Jags are back in action on Thursday, April 2, with the
Men's Tennis Team taking on Hawaii Pacific and the Women
Tennis Team taking on Williams and Hawaii Pacific at Newman Tennis
Center. Match is set to begin a 9:00 a.m.
