AUGUSTA, Ga.
– Augusta State split a pair of Peach Belt Conference tennis
matches with Francis Marion on Friday afternoon at Newman Tennis
Center.
The men's team took down Francis Marion 7-2, while the Lady
Jags fell 7-2 to the Patriots.
With the win, the men's tennis team improved to 10-5 overall
and 4-5 in the PBC, while the loss dropped the women's team
to 11-7 on the season and 6-6 in the conference.
Both ASU squads are back in action on tomorrow, when they host UNC
Pembroke in a Peach Belt Conference match at Newman Tennis Center.
First serve is set for noon.
