GREENWOOD, S.C. – The GRU Augusta men's tennis team ended their regular-season schedule on Monday in a 5-1 Peach Belt Conference loss at Lander University in Greenwood, S.C.

The Jaguars ended the regular season 12-7 overall and 3-7 in the Peach Belt Conference. Monday was a battle of nationally-ranked opponents between GRU and Lander. The Jags dropped all three doubles matches, but were able to get one win in singles.

GRU found life in the No. 1 singles slot when Thomas Sevel won 7-5, 6-1 over Marc Hofer for the only Jaguar victory on the day.

GRU Augusta ends the regular season 8-3 at home in Newman Tennis Center and 4-4 on the road. The teams will await conference and regional rankings and seeding sot determine postseason play.
