GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Jaguars played their last-regular season match of the 2015 season on Monday afternoon and dropped a close 5-4 Peach Belt Conference match at Lander University in Greenwood, S.C.
The Jaguars ended the regular season 15-5 overall and 8-5 in the Peach Belt. The ladies went 9-2 at home in Newman Tennis Center and 6-3 on the road.
GRU Augusta was perfect in doubles and won all three dual matches over the Bearcats. Maria Cecilia Pimentel was the only Jaguar to win a singles match on the day, as Lander went on to outlast GRU 5-4.
