SUMTER, S.C. – The Augusta University men's tennis team played Barton College in a neutral site, non-conference matchup on Saturday and won 6-3 at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

Augusta is now 2-0 on the young season with the road win. The Jags are ranked No. 49 in the nation and ninth in the NCAA Southeast Region.

Barton booked two wins in the second and third singles slots and a win in No. 3 doubles.

The Jaguars play a dual match with the Lady Jags on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Benedict College in Columbia, S.C., for a 2:00 p.m. first serve.
