AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team lost a 4-3 non-conference match to the Coker Cobras on Friday afternoon in Hartsville, SC.
The match moved Augusta to 2-4 overall while the Cobras moved to 2-0 overall.
Augusta Sophomore Ricard Ruibio won the first singles match 6-2,7-5. Senior Gaspard Matthieu won the third singles match in two sets, 6-1, 6-4, while freshman Herrick Isago booked a 6-4, 7-5 win at number four singles. The Cobras swept doubles play to win.
AU travels to Benedict College in Columbia, SC on Tuesday for a 1:00pm match. T
