GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Augusta University volleyball team punctuated their 13
th win of the season with a 25-11 victory in their fourth and deciding set against Lander on Friday night. AU improved to 13-4 (3-1 PBC) while Lander falls to 8-7 (1-4) PBC.

The Jaguars got off to a strong early start in Set 1 with a 7-3 run to extend their lead to 18-13. A service ace by
Samantha Zittrauer and an attack error by the home team extended that lead to 24-17 before AU closed the set. The Bearcats answered in set 2, hitting a .268 clip in the second stanza and winning 25-21. However Augusta would not be deterred, winning Set 3 25-17. The visiting Jags had a blistering .432 hitting percentage in the deciding set, closing the game 25-11.

Kylie Martin continued to prove herself as a force, carding 15 kills.
Alexis Diaz-Infante had a breakout match, adding 10 kills while hitting an ultra-efficient .450 hitting percentage.
Holland Martin had a team high 20 digs while
Chloe Allen led with 5 blocks.
Setters
Ally Thees and
Samantha Zittrauer were virtually identical, dishing 15 and 16 assists respectively.

Lander was led by Christina Aguayo's 21 kills.
