AUGUSTA, Ga - The Augusta University women's volleyball swept the visiting Lander Bearcats to celebrate 2021 Senior Day. Augusta improves to 20-8 (7-3 PBC) while Lander falls to 12-12 (3-7 PBC).
With the win, AU secured the 2
nd seed in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament this coming Friday.
Augusta cruised to victory easily, holding Lander to a .058 hitting percentage for the match.
Augusta was led by
Chloe Allen's 10 kills.
Kylie Martin added 9 kills and
Alyssa Frazier had 7.
For the third game in a row, four Jaguars had double-digit kills in the matchup. Libero
Holland Martin led the match with 20 digs.
Samantha Zittrauer had 22 assists while
Ally Thees had 16.
