AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's tennis team played the Emmanuel College Lions on Saturday afternoon and took care of an 4-3 non-conference match to improve to 4-0on the season.
In the team's second dual match of the season on the road with the men's team, the Jaguars were able to outlast the host team. After not finishing the match at the No. 1 doubles spot, the Lions won the next two doubles matches 6-3, 6-1. Augusta regained momentum in the singes round when Edith Rueda Croda, Clara deMiguel, Carlota Costa Manero, and Maria Alice Vieira won at the No.3-No.6 spots.
On Monday March 1st, AU women's tennis and men's tennis both host Coker for a 2pm non-conference game.
