Augusta Basketball Hosts Military Appreciation Day Games Jan. 29 Against Clayton St

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Athletics hosts the annual Military Appreciation Day games on Saturday, January 29 in Christenberry Fieldhouse with various military groups and organizations. The Jaguars host Clayton State for a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader, with the women's game beginning at 1:30 p.m. and the men following at 3:30 p.m.

Once again Augusta Athletics is honored to welcome members of the United States Armed Forces for the annual event.
 
All active duty, retired, and veteran military personnel are admitted into the games free of charge with a valid military ID or DD214 form.
 
 
The Jaguars have also welcomed back ForcesUnited, Operation Teammate, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Military & Veterans Services department here at Augusta University to be a part of the celebration.
