Wingate, N.C.----Augusta University men's cross country team was dominant in the 12th annual Bulldog Stampede Friday at the WU Cross Country Facility. Augusta placed six runners in the Top 10.
Nasrudin Mohamed paced Augusta, finishing his 8k in 26:16.62.

Nasrudin finished second individually.
Tripp Miller finished fourth (26:49.92), Andrew Helfers finished fifth (27:04.29),
Kaleb Ellis sixth (27:09.48),
Shahzeb Rashid seventh (27:21.00) and
Amir Dayal eighth (27:21.33).

Andrew Cole,
Benjamin Roberts, and Bihn Nhien Do all finished in the top-20.
Kenneth McDonald and
Noah Shepherd rounded out the AU squad for the day.
Four schools and 41 student-athletes competed in the Bulldog Stampede.

On the Horizon for the Jaguars

Augusta will play host for the Peach Belt Conference Championships November 5
th. The men's 8K race is slated for 9:00 a.m. The women's 5K race follows at 10:15 a.m.

Wingate University is hosting the 2022 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional cross country meet Saturday, Nov. 19 at the WU Cross Country Facility. NCAA officials made the change, moving the site from McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte to the University's 540-acre campus in Eastern Union County.
