NEW ORLEANS, La - The Augusta University women's cross country team continues to climb the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional rankings, released by the U.S Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday afternoon. The Jaguars are now ranked 7^th.
 
In their last outing at the Royals Invitational, Augusta placed eight runners in the top-20, led by Cassie Lagan's second place finish.
 
On the Horizon for the Jaguars
 
Augusta will play host for the Peach Belt Conference Championships November 5^th. The men's 8K race is slated for 9:00 a.m. The women's 5K race follows at 10:15 a.m.
 
Wingate University is hosting the 2022 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional cross country meet Saturday, Nov. 19 at the WU Cross Country Facility. NCAA officials made the change, moving the site from McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte to the University's 540-acre campus in Eastern Union County.
