MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Augusta women's cross country team earned its first team victory of the season Friday morning, winning the Bobcat Invitational with 41 points. Senior Madison Thomas led the way with the individual crown, covering the 5K course in 19:22.83.lts

Augusta placed five runners in the top 15 to secure the win over Division I Georgia Southern (61) and Peach Belt rival North Georgia (70). The Jaguars also finished ahead of five other Peach Belt Programs: Georgia College, Columbus State, Clayton State, USC Aiken, and Georgia Southwestern.
