Milledgeville, Ga. – The Augusta volleyball team picked up a 3-0 sweep over Georgia College Tuesday evening on the road.The Jaguars are now 21-5 on the year and sit atop the Peach Belt Conference.

Sharon Quarles' team was led by senior middle blocker
Alexis Diaz-Infante. The Phoenix, AZ native had 16 kills on 27 swings with just 1 error for a .556 hitting percentage.
Jazmyn Wheeler and
Jada Suguturaga each had 10 kills while
Madelyn Eden turned in 8.
Abigail Breeden accounted for 23 assists and
Samantha Zittrauer had 21.
Dariana Luna led the defensive corps with 13 digs.
At the service line, Breeden led the way with three aces while Suguturaga had two.
Augusta held firm control of the first set, never trailing and winning convincingly 25-13. The second set was back and forth, with both teams trading the lead until consecutive kills from Suguturaga, Eden, and Wheeler closed the set 26-24. Up two sets to none, The Jaguars cruised to a third set victory 25-11.
Augusta travels across the Savannah River this Friday to take on rival USC Aiken at 6:00pm. Live stats and video will be available at augustajags.com
