Ga – Augusta University volleyball defeated Georgia College 3-0 in Peach Belt Conference play on Tuesday evening. With the win, Augusta moved to 13-5, 5-2 PBC Play. Georgia College 8-10, 4-3 PBC.
Jazmyn Wheeler led with 15 kills, carding an impressive .371 hitting percentage. The junior transfer also turned in 14 digs.
Alexis Diaz-Infante also had double with 11 kills on only 20 swings.
Madelyn Eden had 8 kills and
Jada Suguturaga had 7 kills.
Defensively,
Kiera Barr added 14 digs.
Abigail Breeden and
Dariana Luna each had 11 digs.
Augusta held the advantage in every single category - kills, blocks, aces, digs, and assists. The Jaguars also held Georgia College to .073 hitting percentage.
Samantha Zittrauer led with 22 assists.
Abigail Breeden turned in 15.
