AUGUSTA, Ga – The Augusta University volleyball team lost a 3-1 decision to Lander Tuesday evening in a PBC contest.The Jaguars are now 22-6 overall, including 10-3 against conference foes. Lander improves to 20-8, 11-4 in the Peach Belt Conference.
Augusta's offense was balanced in the contest. Alexis Diaz-Infante, Madelyn Eden, and Kayli Cleaver each turned in 14 kills. Jazmyn Wheeler had another double-double, adding 11 kills and 20 digs.
Setter
Samantha Zittrauer led with 45 assists.
Defensively, three Jaguars had over 17 digs. Dariana Luna had 19 digs and Kiera Barr had 18 digs.
Jada Suguturaga chipped in 3 blocks.
The Jaguars are still on the hunt for their first Peach Belt Conference regular season title. Saturday concludes the regular season with back-to-back matches against Young Harris.
