AUGUSTA, Ga - AU took the final game of the day to complete a 3-0 sweep of UVA Wise Sunday afternoon

Game 3

AU took the final game of the series 6-3. A single from Lukas Coker in the first inning scored Patrick Galvin. After adding another score on a balk, a single by Skylor Murphy to left field drove Walker Sinclair home. After another Jaguar score off a UVA Wise error, Kyle LaRoche rounded out the first inning with a 2-run homer.

Entering the second inning with a 6-0 lead, the Jaguars were able to rattle off 5 more runs. Pat Galvin singled to second, scoring Mason Robertson before Ben Markiewicz. Kylie LaRoche doubled and Jordan Wilkie hit a single for 2 additional runs. A double from Harrison Aulds and a sac-fly from Ben Markiewicz in the bottom of the eighth brought the score to 16-2.

Pat Galvin was 4-for-4 with 1 RBI and 3 runs. Six different Jaguars had 2 or more hits for the day.
Chase Horton started in the mound for Augusta, tossing 7 innings and striking out 5 batters before Noah Fritz (1.0 inning) and Nyle Grove (1.0 inning) pitched in relief.
AU travels to take on West Georgia on Wednesday Feb 15^th for a single mid-week game.
