AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University volleyball team won a 3-0 decision to the visiting Shorter Hawks in its first home game of the season.
The Jaguars are now 8-3 overall. The Hawks improve to fall to 5-7 overall.
Set scores were 28-26, 25-22, and 25-11
Head Coach
Sharon Quarles' team was led by nine kills from both
Madelyn Eden and
Jada Suguturaga.
Alexis Diaz-Infante chipped in six kills while
Kayli Cleaver added five.
Samantha Zittrauer distributed a team-high 23 assists while
Abigail Breeden accounted for nine. Zittrauer also posted a game-high four aces.
Defensively,
Dariana Luna tallied a team0high 20 digs while three other Jaguars notched 10 apiece.
