COLUMBUS, Ga. – Miguel Arnold scored a game high 21 points to help the No. 9 Jaguars win a 76-66 PBC contest over the Columbus State Cougars at the Lumpkin Center. Augusta moved to 15-1 and remained atop the conference as the only undefeated team. Columbus State falls to 9-7, 2-4 PBC.

The PBC contest proved to be a game of runs. Augusta got off to a blazing 10-1 start, capped by a dunk from JaQueze Kirby. The home team answered with a 35-15 run to take a commanding 36-23 lead. Augusta closed the quarter with a 12-0 run, trialing 36-35 at the half.
Columbus State shot 52% in the first half, propelling them to a slight edge over the visiting Jaguars. AU struggled from the three point line, going 2-for-13 from behind the arc.
The second half remained tight until
Tyree Myers scored 7 of his 15 points in the final four minutes to propel the team to a 76-66 victory.
Augusta's starting five each had over 10 points.
Miguel Arnold scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half of play. Myers had 15 points and 6 assists.
Tyshaun Crawford had 13 points, 2 blocks, and 11 rebounds. Daren Lucas-White had 12 points and
Ja'Queze Kirby turned in 11 points.
Nelson Haskins paced Columbus State as the only player in double figures, scoring 20 points
