AUGUSTA, Ga - Augusta University Athletics has shown an unwavering commitment to serving the community, and the efforts of the student-athletes earned them recognition on the 2023-24 Week 4 Helper Helper Leaderboard Report.
Augusta is ranked No. 7 among Div. II programs with 729 hours of community service since Augusta 1 of this year. Augusta is one of two Peach Belt Conference schools in the top 15.
AU student-athletes have volunteered with various organizations across the CSRA. These organizations include the Georgia Cancer Center,
The Augusta Iron Man, Augusta University Residence Life,
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, The Oaks Senior Living Facility, Baker Elementary School, and the Paceline Ride.
The Helper Helper volunteer management platform benefits organizations of all sizes by tracking and coordinating their service. Helper Helper and the NCAA teamed up to help encourage student-athletes to make a lasting impact on their communities.
