INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Tennis Committee has selected the 48 teams that will be participating in the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship and the Augusta University men's team was announced as the No. 4 seed in the Southeast
Ranked No. 22 in the latest ITA poll, Augusta will travel to the John W. Walden Tennis Center in Columbus, Ga. Matches will be played on Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29. The winning team from each site will advance to the finals, May 11-15, in Orlando, Fla. Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as hosts.
The Jaguars will match up against 5th-seeded North Georgia on Friday at 1 p.m. The winner of that match will play with winner of the Columbus state/Belmont Abbey 9 a.m. match on Saturday at 1 p.m. Augusta and North Georgia met just one week ago, with Augusta winning a hard-fought 4-3 battle.
