AUGUSTA, GA - After a week of standout performances that saw the Jags take three consecutive wins, junior Demetri Gardner has been named the Peach Belt Confrence Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Player of the Week - Dimitri Gardner, Augusta(Jr., G, Winchester, Va.)
- Averaged 24.3 points and 7.00 rebounds per game in three road wins for the Jaguars last week
- Scored a career-high 38 against Chowan, the most points by a player in a single game in the PBC this season...scored 23 with a career-high 11 rebounds in a win at Virginia Union...hit 22 of 23 free throws on the week
- Leads the PBC in scoring with 22.6 points per game...also eighth in the league in rebounding, 10th in free throw percentage and 11th in three-pointers made per game
