The game started fast in true USC Aiken fashion. The Jaguars were able to keep up the pace with them, staying within seven the entire half. The Jaguars trailed 39-34 at the half.

For most of the second half, the Jaguars stayed within two points of USCA but they could never quite take the lead. With 1:26 left, an offensive rebound and put back by Ja'Queze Kirby tied it at 71. The Jaguars and Pacers exchanged punches until there was no time left and the game was knotted at 75-75.

The Jaguars got off to a hot start in overtime taking the lead several times, but with one second remaining, Max Amadasun picked up his fifth foul and sent Aiken's Jamel Rideout to the free throw line. Rideout sunk both, tying the game at 84-84 and sending the game into a second overtime.

With David Viti and Max Amadasun fouled out, the Jaguars fought to win against No.24 USC Aiken on the road.

Freshman John St. Germain III had his best game to date with 28 points and seven assists, leading the team in both categories.

Demitri Gardner followed with 18 points and Max Amadasun with 17.
