AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta University men's basketball team extended its win streak to five with an 84-68 win over the visiting Flagler College Saints. The Jaguars improve to 14-9, 7-6 PBC while Flagler falls to 13-10, 6-7 inside conference play.

Demitri Gardner paced the Jags in the first half, going 4-for-5 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe for 13 points.
David Viti also went 4-for-5 from the field to add 12 points in the half.

Knotted at 13-13, a jumper from
Demitri Gardner sparked a 7—0 scoring run that put AU up 20-13 with 12:23 left in the first period. The Jags extended the lead to 31-16 with a bucket from Viti with 7:53 left in the half and took a comfortable 43-33 lead to the locker room at halftime. Augusta led for the entire second half, cruising to an 84-68 conference victory.

Ja'Queze Kirby scored his 1,000
th career point and led Augusta with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Demitri Gardner continued his impressive year, scoring 20 points in his 34 minutes of play.
David Viti and
John St. Germain III both turned in 12 points. St. Germain III dished four assists.
Timmy Sellers carded a season-high 10 points in the win.
