SAINT AUGUSTINE, FL - The Augusta University baseball team lost game two to Flagler 5-3 on Saturday. Augusta moves to 23-24 overall and 12-14 in the conference. The Jaguars will finish off the regular season in game three of their conference series versus Flagler on Sunday, April 28. The first pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
Augusta got behind in Saturday's game early as Flagler scored two runs in the third and fifth inning to get ahead 4-0.
Jake Vachon hit a RBI single for the Jaguar, scoring their first run of the game in the sixth inning.
After Flagler added one more run in the seventh,
Jake Johnson hit a RBI single for Augusta to only put them behind three runs.
Jordan Wilkie hit a sacrifice fly to add another run, but Flagler would go on to win 5-3.
Garrett Wright started on the mound for Augusta, giving up four runs off seven hits and striking out two batters.
