DAHLONEGA, Ga - The Augusta University baseball team dropped the final game of its series against North Georgia. Augusta is now 21-17, 9-8 PBC. Augusta will host USC Aiken for its final home series April 12-14.
In the second inning, Parker Ingram hot a solo home run to start off scoring for the day. Their Nighthawks scored three runs in the bottom of the second and seven in the third inning for a huge 10-1 lead.Â
In the fourth inning, Gavin Wright sparked the offense with a single that scored Ingram. A single from Koby Ayala then plated Kyle LaRoche before a 2 RBI single to center field from Kyle Lodise capped scoring for AU. The Jags fell 16-5.
Lodise went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI to lead the Jags. Harrison Olds also registered two hits.Â
