EAST LANSING, MI -The Augusta women's golf team concluded the 2023-24 season at the East Lansing Regional on Wednesday, finishing ninth.
Augusta had a team score of 891 (+27) with a final round of 300 (+12). USC won the regional finishing 9-under as the next four teams that earned bids to the NCAA National Championship were Oklahoma State (-5), host Michigan State (-4), Northwestern (-3) and Pepperdine (-1).
Senior
Napabhach Boon-In carded her final round with the Jaguars with an even-par 72 for a 54-hole score of 220 (=4). She finished 26
th overall.
Keria Gonzalez McCarthy shot a 79 (+7) to finish tied for 45
th at 10-over par. Reigning Southland Conference Player of the Year
Kennedy Carroll finished one stroke ahead of McCarthy for the day, firing an 8-over 78 to finish 11 over-par (T50).
Daniela Burgos stayed consistent throughout the tournament, shooting 76s in all three rounds to finish tied for 53
rd.
Victoria Zheng turned in a strong final round with a 2-over 74 to finish tied for 56th.
