Augusta University Golf Completes Renovations to J. Fleming Norvell Golf House

AUGUSTA, GA - Augusta University Athletics has announced completion of the year-long renovation and overhaul of the J. Fleming Norvell Golf House. This facility serves as the home for the defending Southland Conference Champion men's and women's golf programs.

The renovation project included the addition of new furniture, flooring, fresh paint, and a comprehensive branding update. A key feature of the renovation is a hand painted mural by artist Jason Craig dedicated to the 2010 and 2011 men's national championship teams

"We are extremely excited about the new mural design in the golf house," said Head Women's Golf Coach Ember Holloway. "Augusta and its supporters continually look to improve and provide for their programs. We feel the added designs will make this golf house a home for our-student athletes."

The renovated J. Fleming Norvell Golf House now stands as one of the premier practice facilities in college golf. Situated adjacent to the Forest Hills Golf Club, the 4,000-square-foot clubhouse features three offices, a conference room, locker rooms, a kitchenette, a reception/meeting space, and computerized practice facilities. The renovation enhances the functionality of the facility and reinforces Augusta University's reputation as a top destination for collegiate golf.
