AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta University women's cross country team was voted second in the 2024 PBC Preseason Poll. The Jaguars open the season September 23 in Boone, N.C. at the Fire Tower Project hosted by Appalachian State.
"Proud to see our men & women ranked as high as they are in the preseason polls," said head coach
Jacob Burgamy. "Their hard work keeps paying off. We just have to continue keeping our heads down and focusing on getting better each day so that these predictions can be a reality in a couple of months."
The Jaguars finished in third place in each of the last three PBC Championships and had a top-10 in the NCAA Southeast Regional in 2023. The Jaguars return two seniors and a graduate student at the top of the lineup, led by senior
Caroline Pierce who was an All-Conference runner last season.
