AUGUSTA, GA – After two seasons as the Augusta University assistant softball coach, Brianna Strickland has accepted the head coach position at Greensboro College. Strickland will take over a Greensboro softball program that has won at least 25 games in each of the past three seasons, including two USA South Conference Championship series appearances.
"While we are sad to lose Coach Strickland here at Augusta University, we are all very excited for her in her new adventure at Greensboro College!" said head coach
Melissa Brocato. "She is an enthusiastic, creative coach, and I know the girls will enjoy being coached by her. We wish her all the best and will be cheering her on!"
Strickland coached All-Conference selection
Bailee Roberts during her time as an assistant for the Jaguars. She also helped the team to a PBC tournament berth in 2024. Before Augusta, Strickland spent two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Coker University.
"I enjoyed my time here at AU," said Strickland. I am grateful for the opportunities that were afforded me here. As always, GO JAGS!"
