BOONE, NC – The Augusta University Women's Cross Country team placed sixth overall at the Fire Tower Project, hosted by Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina. Competing against a challenging field that included multiple Division I teams, the Jaguars completed the 6k race with a total team time of 1:53:27 and an average time of 22:41.
FIRE TOWER PROJECT RESULTS
Leading Augusta was Emily McBride, who finished 23rd overall with a time of 21:58.6. Madison Kennedy followed closely, finishing 24th at 21:59.7. Maria Biondollilo crossed the line at 22:56.5 to claim 44th place, with Caroline Pierce in 46th place at 23:06.0. Sophia Cook rounded out the top five for Augusta with a time of 23:27.4, finishing in 60th place.
