AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's basketball team will host its annual Richmond County Education Day Game on Tuesday, Dec. 2, when the Jaguars take on Paine College. More than 2,000 fifth graders from Richmond County schools are expected to fill Christenberry Fieldhouse for an 11:00 a.m. tipoff.
Seating is extremely limited, and most sections will be reserved for Richmond County students. Standing room will be available for additional spectators.

$10 – General Admission
$5 – Children (ages 7–17), non-AU students, senior citizens (65+), and military personnel with valid ID
Free with ID – AU students, faculty, staff
Free – Children age 6 and under

This is the first of two Education Day Games this season. On Dec. 18, Augusta will welcome fifth graders from Columbia County schools for the inaugural Columbia County Education Day Game. The Jaguars will host Reinhardt for another special 11:00 a.m. tipoff.
These events provide a unique opportunity for local students to experience collegiate basketball while promoting education and community engagement.
