Lakeland, Fl. - In their final game of the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, Augusta University fell to No. 25 Lubbock Christian 96-69 Sunday in Lakeland, Fl. The Jaguars are now 0-2 on the year while the Chaps improve to 2-0. 
Freshman 
Charlie McBeath led the Jags for the second straight game as he poured in19 points on 8 of 14 shooting. McBeath also went 3-7 from three point range. 
Tobias Prall was the other AU player in double figures with 10 points. 
After getting off to a slow start on Saturday, Augusta was able to hang with Lubbock Christian for the first seven minutes of the game. McBeath, Elias Palsson and 
Tobias Prall doing most of the damage for the Jaguars. 
After trailing by a single point seven minutes into the half, the Chaps went on a run and AU was unable to slow them down. By the time it reached halftime, Lubbock Christian had a 59-33 lead as they shot a blistering 64% from the field.
The second half started slow for the Jags as they were never able to chip into the lead. For the game, Lubbcok Christian shot 59% while Augusta shot 41%.
The Chaps also out rebound AU 42-28. 
Luis Nonfon led the Jags with eight rebounds while 
Daniel Daramola added four boards off the bench. 
Augusta will next be in action Nov. 14-15 at the 45 Second Classic with the Jags taking on Mount Olive in the opener.
